Prof. Ronen Feldman is one of the world's most recognized experts in the field of text mining, link analysis and the semantic analysis of data. In 1997, Prof. Feldman founded ClearForest, a Boston-based business intelligence company later acquired by Reuters. He coined the term "text mining" in 1995, and his textbook, The Text Mining Handbook: Advanced Approaches in Analyzing Unstructured Data (Cambridge University Press, 2007) is considered the world's premier authority on this complex topic. Prof. Feldman currently serves as the Head of the Information Systems Department at the Business School of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and was an Adjunct Professor at NYU Stern Business School. He has given over 30 tutorials on text mining and information extraction and has written numerous scholarly papers on these topics. Professor Feldman received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Cornell University and his B.Sc. in Math, Physics and Computer Science from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He began his career in the military assigned to the elite Talpiot Group, and served for eight years as an officer in the Israel Air Force. |

Anton Bar is a visionary in the field of text mining and data enablement. Prior to joining Digital Trowel in 2008, Mr. Bar served as CTO of CDIS, an enterprise content management company, and founded WebAccelerator, a developer of software optimizing networking over satellite lines acquired by ViaSat Inc in 2001. Previously, he served as Community Director of G.ho.st, Inc. (Global Hosted Operating System), an Israeli-Palestinian start-up that provided subscribers with a free online virtual computer. Mr. Bar holds an M.Sc. in Computer Science from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. |

Steve Gasner brings Digital Trowel the experience gained from a career of over 20 years that began as a pioneer in the field of database marketing and extended to the tangent areas of statistical modeling, customer-level profitability, risk-based profit analysis and targeting algorithms. From 2000 to 2006, Mr. Gasner served as Director of Risk Analytics for Dun and Bradstreet Israel, where he focused on developing revenue-generating technical products. He founded and was EVP Marketing/Sales for DirectCom, which grew into the largest independent U.S. firm to specialize in database marketing and business model development. Mr. Gasner holds a B.A. in Mathematics from Yeshiva University, and an M.B.A. from Bernard Baruch University. A frequent speaker at major U.S. conferences, Mr. Gasner is also widely published in financial periodicals. |

Yuval Aviyam joined Digital Trowel after a 15-year career during which he served as Director of R&D and in key development positions in five companies ranging from publicly-traded enterprise software businesses to software startups, including Magic Software, Zapa Digital Arts, UCallNet, InLive Interactive and others. His strongest areas of technological expertise include the architecture, design and management of complex, scalable and robust applications. As a hobby, Mr. Aviyam created and developed a community website for fans of 4x4 Jeeps, which has generated traffic of over 10,000,000 page-visits per year. Mr. Aviyam's academic background includes Computer Studies and Business at the Tel Aviv University and the Open University. In the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), he served in a field intelligence unit as well as a software developer in an elite special unit. |

As VP Products, Hedva Feldman has overall responsibility for the design specifications and quality of DT's products. Prior to joining DT in 2008, Ms. Feldman served for 11 years as a senior project manager for SPL Software Ltd. with responsibility for the initiation, pre-sale, development and full life-cycle management of a broad range of projects for enterprise customers, including web-based applications, knowledge management systems and other types of complex solutions. For a two-year period during this time, she served as project manager of a cutting-edge Information Extraction and Tagging project for a U.S.-based text mining company. Previously, Ms. Feldman served as a system analyst and Team Leader for Liraz (Bintel) Systems and as a software engineer for H. Mer and Co. Ms. Feldman received a B.Sc. (cum laude) in Computer Science, Musicology and Education from Bar-Ilan University. She has been invited to speak at major IT conferences about innovative application design using Microsoft platforms. |
