Doron Cohen is well-known as a visionary in the field of Business Information Technology and the driving force behind the Digital Trowel corporate mission. Mr. Cohen co-founded Digital Trowel to deliver the underlying "intelligence" found on the Web today to business information users. He established The Focus Group in the 1990s as a highly focused investment vehicle specializing in investments in business information companies and technologies. The Focus portfolio includes Dun and Bradstreet (Israel), The Consumer Credit Bureau (Israel), Trusted Partners Inc., and TogaSoft Solutions Ltd. Mr. Cohen is an active hands-on-investor/manager with over 30 years of experience in large and smaller companies spanning 4 continents. Mr. Cohen is also the co-founder and Executive Chairman of Praxis Venture, which provides strategic solutions to the Dun and Bradstreet Corporation. Mr. Cohen splits his time between the U.S. and Israel. |

Prof. Ronen Feldman is one of the world's most recognized experts in the field of text mining, link analysis and the semantic analysis of data. In 1997, Prof. Feldman founded ClearForest, a Boston-based business intelligence company later acquired by Reuters. He coined the term "text mining" in 1995, and his textbook, The Text Mining Handbook: Advanced Approaches in Analyzing Unstructured Data (Cambridge University Press, 2007) is considered the authority on this complex topic. Prof. Feldman currently serves as the Head of the Information Systems Department at the Business School of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and was an Adjunct Professor at NYU Stern Business School. He has given over 30 tutorials on text mining and information extraction and has written numerous scholarly papers on these topics. Professor Feldman received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Cornell University and his B.Sc. in Math, Physics and Computer Science from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He began his career in the military assigned to the elite Talpiot Group, and served for eight years as an officer in the Israel Air Force. |

Prof. Lyle H. Ungar is well known in the data mining research community. He is an Associate Professor of Computer and Information Science (CIS) at the University of Pennsylvania. He also holds appointments in several other departments, including Operations and Information Management (OPIM) at the Wharton School. Dr. Ungar directed Penn's Executive Masters of Technology Management (EMTM) Program for almost a decade, and continues to teach in that program and in Wharton's executive education program. He has received the Presidential Young Investigator (PYI) award from the National Science Foundation, has published over 100 articles and is a co-inventor on eight patents. He chaired the premier data mining conference, ACM's KDD, in 2006. Since 1984, he has consulted for companies ranging from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies on the strategic use of information technology in areas including data mining, information retrieval, online auction design, expert systems, and e-commerce. Dr. Ungar received a B.S. from Stanford University in 1979 and a Ph.D. from M.I.T. in 1984. |
